Ryan Bolinger is the Defensive Line Coach for the Governors. Bolinger was hired in 2022 after spending three years as the Head Coach at Sequoyah High School. Coach Bolinger has a resume that spans across high school, college, and the NFL.
Bolinger graduated from William Blount in 2003. He played offensive line and lettered three out of four years. Ryan then attended the University of Tennessee, where he earned degrees in Sport Management and Sports Psychology. He began his coaching career in 2008 as a Graduate Assistant at UT. In 2009, Bolinger served as Assistant to the Head Coach, who at the time was Lane Kiffin. Coach Bolinger then worked with the Cleveland Browns for one season as an Analyst.
Ryan teaches P.E. at the William Blount Academy.
